Funeral Services
(for members and close relatives) |
| |
This service will be carried out by both the
Maha Sangha (monks) and fellow Buddhist devotees
Sutras for Loving-Kindness, Meditation,
Compassion, Dependent Origination, Impermanence of Life will be recited
The service will start with a Puja session
followed by a chanting session and finally with transfer of merits to
the departed one
On the 7th, 49th
and 100th day, family members of the departed one will
come to the temple to perform Puja, transfer of merits and
offering of dana to the Maha Sangha (monks) |
